The machine described in this documentation complies with the essential health and safety requirements of Directive 2006/42/EC relating to machinery. An EC Declaration of Conformity has been drawn up by the manufacturer and is available to the competent authorities. The machine has been designed and manufactured in accordance with the applicable harmonized standards, in particular EN ISO 12100 and EN 60204-1, where applicable.

Educational Information

The MINIDOSA is a bottling machine. Bottles enter the machine empty and exit filled with liquid and capped.

The MINIDOSA is designed for educational purposes. It enables students in technological fields to experience realistic industrial conditions in a controlled environment.

Safety instructions

Protect the machine from humidity and water splashes.

Access to the electrical power cabinet is only permitted to the authorized personnel.

Details of the action zones

Main switch
Located on the right-hand side of the machine.
Switches the machine on.
Tank
Contains the liquid used for filling the bottles.

Maximum capacity: 1 L (0.22 gal UK).

Adjusting screw
Adjusts the volume of liquid poured in each bottle.

Maximum capacity: 10 cl (3.4 fl oz UK).

Distribution ramp
Located behind the filling station.
Used to store caps. The caps must be placed threated-side down.

Maximum capacity: 13 caps.

Infeed conveyor
Transfers empty bottles to the rotary table.

Maximum capacity: 11 bottles.

Rotary table
Transfers bottles from the infeed conveyor to the filling station, then to the capping station and finally to the outfeed conveyor.

Capacity: 3 bottles.

Capping station
Screws a cap onto the bottle.
Outfeed conveyor
Discharges filled and capped bottles.

Maximum capacity: 6 bottles.

Details of the control panel and operating modes

EN SERVICE (In service) illuminated button
Lights up when the machine is in service.
Activates the machine.
SOUS TENSION (Power on) indicator light
Lights up when the machine is powered.
MAIN (Manual) button
Used when the AUTO / O / MAIN selector switch is set to the MAIN position.
Rotates the rotary table by one index step.
MARCHE (Start) button
Used when the AUTO / O / MAIN selector switch is set to AUTO position.
Starts mass production of filled and capped bottles.
DEFAUT (Default) indicator light
Lights up when the ARRET D'URGENCE (Emergency stop) button is engaged.
AUTO / O / MAIN selector switch
Provides three modes: : AUTO (Automatique), O (Purge), MAIN (Manual).
PURGE button
Used when the AUTO / O / MAIN selector switch is set to O position.
Activates the filling station syringe.
ARRET (Stop) Button
Used during production in AUTO mode.
Pauses the production.
ARRET D'URGENCE (Emergency Stop) button
Immediately stops the production.
Puts the machine out of service.
Must be reset before restarting the production.
